It's
Mardi Gras in New Orleans!

In
the spirit of Mardi Gras, we couldn't think of a better opportunity to pay tribute
to a very important part of the Phoenix team, our New Orleans claims office. Until
now, this part of our team has gone virtually unnoticed perhaps due to the specialized
nature of their business, airport claims.
Greg Fuxan
is Vice President and Airport Division Claims Manager. He is a Loyola University
of Law School graduate with 19 years experience in law and litigation. Greg serves
as the attorney for the New Orleans office and handles all large airport claims.
Richard Tucker
recently retired as vice president of our New Orleans office. He has over forty-eight
years experience handling and supervising all lines of casualty insurance claims.
He recently founded Tucker Consulting Inc., and works exclusively for Phoenix. He
continues to play a supporting role to Phoenix by performing onsite airport surveys.
Gilbert Smith
is a senior claims representative and assistant branch manager. He is a veteran
in the insurance industry with over 30 years experience in claims. He is a graduate
of Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Gilbert also proudly
served in our U.S. military.
James Mason
is also a senior claims representative and has been with Phoenix for 11 years. He
is a native of New Orleans and holds a B.A. in Marketing from Northeast Louisiana
University. James has an impressive 25 years experience as a claims adjuster with 18 of those years in aviation.
Louise Jenkins
celebrates her 10 year anniversary with Phoenix this week. She is another
Louisiana native. She has been in the insurance claims industry for almost 40 years.
She started her career working in Material Damage and gradually worked into the
aviation claims industry. Louise is also a senior claims representative.
Pierre Prevost
is a claims representative and has served our New Orleans office for six years.
He has a diverse professional background in customer service, human resources and
insurance claims. Pierre is a University of Southern Mississippi graduate.
Danna Olivier,
airport claims administrator, has been with Phoenix for over 10 years. She has been
described as the heartbeat of the New Orleans office. When asked to comment on Danna's
contribution to the team one individual was quoted as saying "She goes over and
above what her duties are, I don't think this office
would function without her".
The extensive wealth of knowledge and experience each of these individuals contribute
are what make them and Phoenix a success. We appreciate our New Orleans team for
their hard work and dedication. Thank You New Orleans for making us look good.
Happy Mardi Gras!

Where's Steve Knowle ?
There
has been some confusion lately about the status of our Atlanta Branch Manager, Steve
Knowle. I have heard from some of you that thought Steve had retired. Well, let's
set the record straight. Although Steve hasn't retired, he is reducing his work
schedule and stepping down from the rigors of managing the Atlanta Branch. You may
see him more often now as he has more time to travel. He will be in the office on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays underwriting some large accounts and the Aero Ag
product line. We will continue to draw upon Steve's valuable experience and knowledge
of our business.
